omni is a 360 degree panoramic video camera and was completed in a week to fulfil a brief set by design consultancy DCA. By simply sliding the green cover away from the lens the user can capture everything around them. This video data is then viewed on a computer where it can be viewed and cropped.

The camera tags the video with a GPS reference so when shared online videos can be grouped by location. This leads towards user driven coverage for events such as concerts, marches or sporting events.
